Boxcar
PRR #71027
40' American Car and Foundry (ACF) welded boxcar with an 8' Youngstown door,
painted in Tuscan red with white lettering and the Pennsylvania Railroad's
Keystone logo. This particular model was introduced in the late 1950s
and was popular with shippers due to its wider door opening, allowing easier
forklift access. The prototypes of this model were in general freight
service from the late 1950s well into the 1980s and beyond.
